I played with my watercolor paints the other day. At the last minute, I accidentally flicked paint onto the sketch. Then some of it bled where it shouldn't have.
I need more practice, but luckily I had transferred the sketch I colored using charcoal paper, so I still have the original. I might ink it and try coloring it in Photoshop sooner or later. I could use practice with that too. I'm lazy as hell right now.
I've only been writing and listening to music recently. I need to do some character sketches soon. I actually owe people a few.

Today, I'm too tired to care. ^-^ Let the pages rot for now.

- granted, not the deepest lyrics I've ever heard, but the Nishikawa's vocals are way too catchy and the overall sound is addictive as hell. Plus, the guitar solo at around 2:27 is amazing stuff.

Akagi by Maximum The Hormone
[Album - Buiikikaesu!! (2007)]
- belching at the end of a song is classy. Anyway, I now really want to buy this album. From what I've heard of Makishimamu, I really like this sound. I'm picky about the style, but they wear it well and even have some versatility in there. Very quickly they are becoming a favorite with me.

Passion by BUCK-TICK
[Album - 13wa Gekkou (2005)]
- BUCK-TICK always manages to have lyrics that are oozing sensuality and sexuality, but Passion has a very dark, forbidding quality about it. Sakurai's voice is sex no matter what he's singing, even if it's something like this that sounds a bit like a funeral song. ^^' I like how he uses anata for "you" instead of kimi. It seems more real that way.

Kokoro no Nai Machi by MUCC
[Single - Kokoro no Nai Machi (2005)]
- for the moment, this is my "everything's gonna be better soon" song. Every once in a while, something peppy sneaks into MUCC's usually very macabre style, which I also enjoy. Actually, I got into MUCC because of their hard, darker sound. Kokoro no Nai Machi starts off deceptively mellow, but kicks into gear at 0:16. I've been a willing addict of Tatsurou's voice since the first time I heard it, and he sounds very raw and sincere in this song. He never slacks off, and throws himself into his vocals 100%!
